Mikayla Bader was raised in Upstate NY, graduating with a BFA in Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She has participated in various professional opportunities as a contractor, apprentice, and intern within the art and design field. 
As an accomplished artist, she has won various awards for her artwork. She was awarded first place in the emerging artist's category at Rochester’s Corn Hill Arts Festival, and best of show in Yosemite Sierra Artist’s “Visions of Self,” juried exhibition. She was also accepted into the 2023 Society of Illustrators Student Scholarship Competition for her painting entitled, “Hope.”
Mikayla currently resides in Upstate NY and has a studio space located in the Shirt Factory in Glens Falls. Here, she hopes to continue her professional exploration and experimentation with fine art and painting. She also progresses her illustrative and design abilities through the support of her freelance and contracted endeavors.
