Mikayla Bader is a Florida-born illustrator who grew up in Upstate New York, with a strong passion for portraiture, the human figure, and anatomy. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2023. Her work blends both traditional and digital media, combining the tactile quality of traditional techniques with the versatility of digital tools.
Since graduating, she has expanded her artistic skills by studying under other renowned artists at workshops, including Nicolas Uribe. Her work has been awarded by the Society of Illustrators, the Corn Hill Arts Festival, and the Yosemite Sierra Artists Group. When she's not creating, she loves hiking, doing yoga, attending small indie concerts, and exploring used bookstores.
